Tottenham Hotspur have been offered Wojciech Szczesny and the Juventus stopper has been hailed for his latest Poland display.
Poland were in action against Saudi Arabia on Saturday afternoon and really needed a win.
The 0-0 opener with Mexico was frustrating given Robert Lewandowski’s opportunity to win it from the penalty spot.
It all came good on Saturday though with Piotr Zielinski and Lewandowski finding the net to take down Saudi Arabia.

Tottenham Hotspur have been offered Wojciech Szczesny
There was more penalty drama in this game though – and this time, Poland were the beneficiaries.
A soft penalty was given to Saudi Arabia shortly after Zielinski’s opener and Salem Al-Dawsari stepped up from the spot.
Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny pulled off a superb save and then produced an even better stop on the rebound.
Szczesny kept Saudi Arabia at bay masterfully and now has two clean sheets in two World Cup outings.
The Italian media have now been hailing the Juventus goalkeeper after his outstanding double save.
Tuttomercatoweb hailed Szczesny as ‘literally miraculous’ for his double save, adding that the save for the rebound was ‘extraordinary’.
TMW also praised Szczesny for three ‘top-level’ saves in the second half and believe he was the undisputed man of the match.
Szczesny’s outstanding performance comes amid a rather surprise rumour about a possible return to England.
90Min reported just days ago that intermediate agents have offered Szczesny to Tottenham Hotspur as they consider a replacement for Hugo Lloris.
It’s suggested that Tottenham aren’t set on signing Szczesny but they haven’t yet closed the door on a deal.
Szczesny is not only a former Arsenal player but has continued to mock Spurs long after his departure from the Emirates Stadium.
Tottenham fans surely wouldn’t be keen on seeing Szczesny sign but if he turns in displays like he did on Saturday, some may warn to the idea.
