Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is determined to have a better season.
Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is determined to make the most of his second chance at the club.
The former Marseille man failed to score a single goal or provide an assist last season, although a lack of Premier League starts did not help, with head coach Mauricio Pochettino clearly unconvinced.
Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante tackles Tottenham’s Georges-Kevin Nkoudou
N’Koudou did net in Tottenham’s behind closed doors friendly yesterday, a 4-0 victory over Leyton Orient.
He posted a message on Twitter after the win, but was quickly reminded about an incident last month in which he was pictured wearing a Chelsea shirt, with The Sun reporting at the time how he had to offer a grovelling apology.
Urged to kick on, the France under-21 winger said he was desperate to make an impact this coming season and would give it his all.
N’Koudou was not helped last season by arriving on deadline day, and has wasted no time making a strong early impression this pre-season.
The way he interacts with supporters makes him a bit of a fan favourite off the pitch, despite his big error last month.
He just needs some on pitch success to start endearing him further.
