Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura has stated on Twitter that he hopes to be back in action soon.

The 26-year-old winger suffered a thigh injury during Tottenham’s victory over Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup earlier this month.

The Brazil international is on the sidelines at the moment, and he hopes to be back in action soon, as he responded to a Tottenham fan on Twitter.

Need for Lucas Moura

With Son Heung-min off to the Asian Cup to play for South Korea and Harry Kane suffering an injury against Manchester United on Sunday evening, Tottenham do look a bit short upfront.

London, England - December 29, 2018

Moura is a winger by trade, but the former Paris Saint-Germain star can play upfront, and manager Mauricio Pochettino could deploy him in that role if Kane misses upcoming matches.

The 26-year-old former Sao Paulo ace has made 16 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season, scoring six goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
