Tottenham Hotspur winger Anthony Georgiou is playing in Spain.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Anthony Georgiou clinched a loan move to La Liga side Levante on deadline day.
The switch looked like a dream move for the 21-year-old, who had seemed his first team chances at Tottenham blocked.
If anything, the switch looked a bit too good to be true. And so it has proved so far.
It appeared as though Georgiou was heading out to play for Levante’s first team.
Tottenham’s official announcement noted how Georgiou was set to join the team which sat 12th in La Liga.
Instead of getting a crack at first team La Liga football, Georgiou now finds himself playing for Levante’s B side.

Georgiou made his debut a week ago as a substitute for Levante B in a 2-1 defeat against Badalona.
It’s not what the winger would have had in mind when he made the switch.
Georgiou has made a good impression on consecutive pre-seasons for Tottenham, but has not been given a real shot by Mauricio Pochettino.
Strong performances in La Liga could have swayed the former Espanyol boss.
There is still a chance that Georgiou gets his chance before the end of the season for Levante, and that he is just being eased in slowly.
It would be a shame if his move to Spain carried on it’s underwhelming path and he was once again denied a proper shot at competitive first team football.
