According to The Sun, Bournemouth want £50 million as transfer fee for Manchester United target David Brooks, and that means that Tottenham Hotspur will have to increase their reported offer of £40m.

The Sun has claimed that United are interested in signing Brooks from Premier League rivals Bournemouth, who will demand at least £50m for the 21-year-old midfielder.

The same publication claimed on May 24, 2019 that Tottenham were hoping to secure the services of the 21-year-old midfielder for £40m.

However, this latest report in The Sun suggests that the North London outfit will have to increase their offer for the Wales international by £10m.

Good move for Tottenham Hotspur?

Brooks is a very talented and promising young midfielder, and the Wales international will be a good signing for Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Spurs need young and dynamic players to maintain their success in the coming years, and the former Sheffield United star does fit the bill.

According to WhoScored, Brooks made 29 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Bournemouth this past season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in the process.
