Tottenham Hotspur’s under-19 side managed to draw 1-1 with Real Madrid in the UEFA Youth League.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp has drawn a high amount of praise for his performance against Real Madrid in the UEFA Youth League last night.
Skipp started for Spurs against Madrid, as the Lilywhites matched the senior side and claimed a 1-1 draw against the Spanish giants.
Tottenham had taken the lead against Madrid when Jack Roles finished expertly in the first-half.

However, the Lilywhites were unable to hold on as Madrid ramped up the pressure in the second half.
Los Blancos scored through prolific striker Dani Gomez to claim a point.
Spurs’ performance was still highly impressive though and Skipp’s display earned a great deal of praise on Twitter.
Skipp is still only 17, which means he is currently playing above his age level, and he is still catching the eye.
Skipp will be able to look at the performance of Harry Winks for Tottenham’s senior side at the Bernabeu last night and hope that he can have a similar route to the first-team in future years.
