Tottenham Hotspur are said to still remain keen on Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a bid for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, which is well below their £70 million asking price.

Palace have slapped a mammoth asking price on Zaha and look determined to keep the winger again.

Spurs, though, are still reportedly hoping to get him on the cheap and are contemplating making a ‘low offer’ for the trickster.

The move seems like a complete waste of time for Tottenham, as Palace surely won’t sell for cheap.

The Eagles appear determined to retain Zaha this summer, and Spurs either need to pay-up, or consider other options.

Tottenham have been long-term admirers of Zaha, but have failed to reach a deal before, and if they are coming in with low offers then they seemingly have no chance getting the wide-man this summer, either.

Spurs simply cannot expect to land a player of Zaha’s quality on the cheap, and if Mauricio Pochettino really wants the Palace man, then he will have to invest considerable funds to have a chance of prising him away from Selhurst Park.
