The deal includes a bumper new buy-out clause for the Portuguese talent.

Reports in Turkey this week suggested that Tottenham Hotspur are still in the hunt for Galatasaray winger Bruma.

Aksam reported that Tottenham have watched the player in action six times already this season and will be sending a delegation to watch him after the international break as they consider making a move for the player – who is valued at around €25 million (£22 million).

However, reports in Turkey today suggest that the Istanbul club and the Portuguese winger have agreed a new contract at the Turk Telekom Arena.

Yenicag Gazetesi has reported that after weeks of negotiations Bruma has finally agreed on a new deal at the club that will keep him in Istanbul until 2022. The report also claims he will have a new buy-out clause in his agreement at the club – worth around €40 million (£34 million).

So far there has been no official confirmation of the bid and the same report suggests that Spurs, along with other interested parties, still intend on watching Bruma in action in the Istanbul derby v Fenerbahce this weekend.

But at that price-tag it is hard to see Spurs making any move for Bruma in the near future.
