Tottenham are keen on Amadou Diawara.

Tottenham Hotspur target Amadou Diawara is a player who has been tipped for the very top for the past three seasons since bursting onto the scene in Italy.
The midfielder is reported to be on Tottenham’s radar this January, with Calcio Napoli 24 reporting Spurs are weighing up making an offer of £33 million.
Tottenham’s interest in the midfielder dates back to 2015, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting at the time they were monitoring him.

Diawara takes inspiration from Manchester City title winner Yaya Toure, admitting he was the current player he most admired.
He told UEFA’s website: “I really like Yaya Touré, for his peace of mind and game vision. I have often watched his games, to understand how he moves and what he does.”

Diawara was playing for Bologna at the time, and eventually earned a move to Napoli.
Still only 20-years-old, Diawara has racked up considerable experience already, playing 18 games this season and five in thew Champions League, scoring once.
At Tottenham he is potentially being lined up as a successor to Mousa Dembele, but if he can go onto have the impact of Toure, Spurs can look forward to good times ahead in the years to come.
