Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are facing competition from Inter Milan for AS Monaco right-back Vanderson, according to CMW.
The Italian news outlet has claimed that Conte’s former club and Inter are keen on signing the 21-year-old Brazilian right-back.
Ligue 1 club Monaco will reportedly want at least €20 million (£17.61 million) in transfer fees for Vanderson, who is a ‘complete full-back’ similar in style to former Inter and Brazil international Maicon, according to Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig.
Should Tottenham Hotspur sign Vanderson?
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur should sign someone who is better and more experienced than Vanderson in the January transfer window or next summer.
We do not think that Spurs need another young right-back who is not the finished article yet.

After all, Tottenham signed Djed Spence only in the summer of 2022, and the young right-back is not getting playing time under head coach Antonio Conte.
Can we really expect Vanderson to fare much better?
Yes, Tottenham need to enhance the quality of their right hand-side and get in a quality right wing-back, but we believe that the North London club should look at someone more established than Vanderson.
