Tottenham Hotspur could leave Manchester United to rue inactivity over Justin Kluivert.

SkySports report Tottenham Hotspur are stepping up interest in Ajax attacker Justin Kluivert.
The son of Dutch hero Patrick Kluivert is a winger and is one of two Ajax players Spurs have scouted in recent weeks, along with midfielder Donny van de Beek.
Kluivert would be an exciting signing for Tottenham, and could be a signing which would leave Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho with a big regret.
Mourinho watched Kluivert at close quarters in the Europa League final between United and Ajax, and made a beeline for him after the game.
The Manchester Evening News reported that Mourinho told Kluivert, “See you in 2018. We win the Champions League and the Premier League,” telling the youngster to wait one more year, then he would sign him.

Mourinho may have been testing the youngster to step up his game this season as he was unsure on him, but he could come to regret not making a move this summer.
United failed in their pursuit of top winger target Ivan Perisic, and Kluivert’s price is only expected to rise between now and next summer.
One advantage they do have is that Kluivert is represented by Mino Raiola, who also represents United stars Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
This season the 18-year-old has one assist in seven Eredivisie games.
If Tottenham did decide to steal in and make a move as they are reported to be considering, it would leave Mourinho with a huge regret at not acting sooner.
