Conor Gallagher has established himself as a regular in the Chelsea first team under head coach Mauricio Pochettino, but Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur reportedly think that the midfielder could join them.
According to 90min, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Conor Gallagher from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea
The report has claimed that Tottenham are monitoring the situation of Gallagher at Chelsea.
Chelsea are trying to convince Gallagher to a new deal, and Spurs are monitoring those talks.

90min has claimed that Tottenham “enquired about Gallagher” in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea were willing to sell the 23-year-old England international midfielder for £50 million.
90min has added that despite potential interest in the youngster from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, Tottenham “believe that Gallagher’s preference would be to join them if he were to leave Chelsea in the near future”.
My View: January transfer unlikely for Conor Gallagher
I do not think that Chelsea will sell Conor Gallagher in the January transfer window.
Perhaps the Blues could be forced to sell the 23-year-old in the summer of 2024 if they are unable to agree on a new deal with the midfielder by then.
But, in my opinion, there is no way that Chelsea would sell the midfielder in the middle of the season given how important he is now.
Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has described Gallagher as “a really consistent player that can perform in different positions” and is “so happy with him”.
Gallagher has played seven times in the Premier League and has made one start and one substitute appearance in the EFL Cup for the Blues so far this season.
