Tottenham are keen on signing Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.

Grealish is said to be available if a Premier League side can meet Villa’s lofty demands as they seek to raise cash following their promotion failure.
The jury is out on whether Spurs should pay up for Grealish, but previous comments from Alan Hutton can be filed for the ‘buy him’ argument.

Former Spurs full-back Hutton is a teammate of Grealish at Villa and spoke highly of his attitude after he broke through.
Hutton compared Grealish’s mentality to ex-Spurs maestro Gareth Bale, who he played alongside at Spurs.
He told The Star in 2014: “Jack has everything to progress into a world-class player.
“For someone of his young age, he’s got unbelievable talent and has been well able for the Premier League. He’s got a different style to Gareth (Bale) but is similar in how down to earth he is.”

For a team like Tottenham who are careful not to bring in disruptive players to their tightly knit squad, the comments on Grealish’s attitude can only bode well.
He has had to deal with a lot of expectation and pressure at Villa, and while this would continue if he moved with a big price tag, Grealish has shown he can handle it.
