Tottenham have been linked to Wilmar Barrios.

Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Wilmar Barrios is confident of World Cup success with Colombia, and is tipping himself to be a star.
Barrios hopes to play a prominent role at Russia 2018 and has been named in Colombia’s provisional 35 man squad.

Speaking last week, Barrios cut a confident figure, quoted by Bola VIP saying he expects to star at the tournament in Russia.
He said: “I prepare every day for the World Cup, I prepare myself by giving my best and maintaining the level.
“I dream every day with that, every day I get excited, every day I prepare to get well, I see myself as a revelation of the World Cup.
“You have to think big so that things happen as you want.”

Barrios’ belief in his ability would prepare him well for a move to the Premier League if it comes his way, and his comments should give Tottenham pause for thought.
It make sense to consider trying to get a deal done before the tournament, especially if he is being priced at £25 million now.
Strong performances will see his price increase, potentially to the point where Spurs feel the midfield enforcer is no longer value for money.
