Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is thought to fancy a Premier League move amid rumoured interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham Hotspur have been given a boost in their pursuit of Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi amid claims he wants a Premier League move in 2024.
That is according to Foot Mercato, who claim that Sevilla are interested in signing Ndidi but a move to Spain isn’t his top choice.
Many probably expected Ndidi to leave Leicester over the summer as they suffered relegation to the Championship.
Ndidi ended up staying though and is expected to move on in 2024 with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Tottenham given Wilfred Ndidi boost
Ndidi is bound to attract real interest as a free agent and Tottenham are thought to be interested.
Reports from TEAMtalk earlier this month suggested that Tottenham are rivalling Aston Villa and Newcastle United in the race for Ndidi.
Foot Mercato now claim that Sevilla want to take Ndidi to Spain and have ‘already made a first offer’ for the midfielder.
However, Sevilla have met some resistance because Ndidi wants to focus on a Premier League transfer.
Ndidi and his entourage are ‘favouring’ a Premier League move, seemingly believing that he should be back in England’s top flight.

Ndidi could replace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg at Tottenham
Spurs appear to be in the market for another midfielder with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg likely to move on in 2024.
The Dane will soon be entering the final 18 months of his contract and Tottenham seem willing to cash in.
Tottenham would then need another midfielder to compete with Yves Bissouma in the holding role – a position Ndidi knows very well.
This may suit Tottenham because Ndidi could be available in a cut-price deal come January, allowing Spurs to bring in proven Premier League competition without breaking the bank.
Brendan Rodgers hailed Ndidi as ‘incredible’ during their time together at Leicester and whilst he had his ups and downs last season, the Nigerian could be just what Spurs are seeking.
Ange Postecoglou will surely love that Ndidi fancies a Premier League move, but whether Tottenham make a January offer remains to be seen.
