Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keen to snap up Bayer Leverkusen attacker Leon Bailey.

According to the Daily Mail (live blog, 12:59), Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey and his past comments on a move to the Premier League suggest that a deal could appeal.
Bailey was linked with a move to Chelsea in January, but that switch did not happen.
At the time, though, Bailey made no secret of stating that he was interested in a switch to England at some point in his career.

“Of course I have a dream club, but I will not tell. Basically England was and still is my dream,” Bailey said to the London Evening Standard.
“And if I keep working hard, I’m sure it will work someday.”
Bailey is said to be valued at over £60 million by Leverkusen, meaning Spurs would have to break their transfer record to snap up the youngster.
Bailey has been in wonderful form over the past season for Leverkusen though, where he has netted 12 goals and claimed six assists in the Bundesliga.

If he was to arrive at Tottenham, he would increase Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s attacking options even further.
Spurs may not have a free run to sign the prospect, with other Premier League sides linked.
But it seems that if Spurs could agree a fee for Bailey then he may well be interested in making the switch to north London.
