Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur and Unai Emery’s Arsenal are reportedly interested in Joachim Andersen of Sampdoria.

Earlier this month, Tuttomercatoweb.com claimed of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal’s interest in signing Joachim Andersen from Sampdoria in the summer transfer window.
It was reported that Tottenham are ready to pay €25 million (£22.23m) as transfer fee for the 23-year-old central defender, while Arsenal are claimed to willing to cough up €45m (£40.01m) for Andersen and his Sampdoria teammate and 25-year-old attacking midfielder Dennis Praet.
The Mirror has now claimed that Arsenal are now stepping up their interest in the Danish defender.
It has been reported that Arsenal manager Unai Emery has made 20-year-old RB Leipzig central defender Dayot Upamecano and Andersen of Sampdoria priority signings in the summer transfer window.
According to WhoScored, Andersen made 32 appearances in Serie A for Sampdoria this season, proving one assist in the process.

Andersen is valued at between €20 million (£17.78m) and €30m (£26.68m) by the CIES Football Observatory.
While Tottenham will play in the Champions League next season, Arsenal will feature in the Europa League.
