The Leeds winger last night ‘liked’ a post on Twitter discussing his reportedly close move to Spurs.
The Evening Standard report Clarke is near to completing a £8.5 million transfer to Tottenham.
Leeds fans were thrilled by Clarke’s progress last season as he went from academy star to first team contributor.
He still only made four league starts, but he created enough attention to have Premier League teams chasing him.
Clarke’s social media ‘like’ was another hint he is heading towards the exit door, or that he is at least mentally preparing to want to move on.
Neither Leeds or Tottenham have done any business this summer so far.
Clarke’s exit would provide Leeds with funds to facilitate incoming signings.
