Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is in demand, with Juventus, AS Roma and Napoli all interested in signing him in the January transfer window, according to CalcioMercato.
CalcioMercato have reported that AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho is keen on signing Ndombele in January, having worked with the midfielder at Tottenham.
However, Roma are able to sign the France international midfielder only on a loan deal with an option to make it permanent at the end of the season.
The report in the Italian news outlet has named Juventus and Napoli as the other two Serie A clubs as interested parties.
Interestingly, Juventus are one of Conte’s former clubs.
The 52-year-old played for Juventus from 1991 until 2004 and then managed them from 2011 until 2014.
Conte won the Serie A title fives times and the Champions League once as a player with Juve.
The Italian tactic won the Scudetto three years in a row as the manager of the Turin club.
What should Tottenham Hotspur do with Tanguy Ndombele?
In our view, Tottenham should keep Ndombele and not send him out on loan.
Now, of course, if a club is willing to pay £50 million+ for the 25-year-old in the January transfer window, then, yes, Spurs should offload him.
But, in our opinion, there is no point in Tottenham sending a midfielder out on loan when teams in the Premier League are being affected by COVID-19.
