Tottenham Hotspur have sent a number of young players out on loan for first-team experience, and one of them turned in a strong display on Saturday.
Defender TJ Eyoma spent the second half of last season on loan at Lincoln City, but with the League One season ending prematurely, he didn’t get much out of his loan.
In August, Eyoma re-joined the Imps, this time penning a deal for the full season – and it looks to be paying dividends for him right now.
Lincoln claimed a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon, meaning they remain top of the League One table with 19 points from eight games.
Eyoma is featuring heavily, and has now played a key role in a run of three straight clean sheets in the league, and he impressed on Saturday.
The 20-year-old is playing as a right back under Michael Appleton, and fans took to Twitter to praise his performance against Ipswich.

Some named Eyoma as their man of the match, and suggested that he looks like a ‘real player’ after an ‘awesome’ display.
Others called him ‘brilliant’ and ‘immense’, with Eyoma seemingly making a huge impact at Sincil Bank ahead of his return to Tottenham next year.
