The Kenyan feels the capital can be slightly lonely at times because of the lack of interaction.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has been speaking to the press in Kenya about settling into life in London – after making his move to White Hart Lane in the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino signed his former player from Southampton in the summer and the 25-year-old midfielder has become an instant hit among the Tottenham faithful.

Moving to London can be daunting for any player, even if Wanyama did spend years in Glasgow, London is vastly larger.
He is currently representing his nation in Kenya and spoke to All Africa this week about settling into life in the English capital and admitted that whilst happy, it can be slightly lonely.
He stated:
“Life in London is very interesting.
“Things happen very fast and you need to be prompt when making decisions.
“Then you have to put up with the culture and way of life, you see, there almost everyone minds his or her own business, you almost have nobody to interact with apart from when in training.”

It is good to hear that Wanyama is settled into his new environment, even if the stand-offish nature of the city doesn’t agree with him, as Spurs fans would like him to make it his own for some time.
The Kenyan has proved an excellent signing for Tottenham since his arrival and Spurs fans have already taken to his selfless displays and combative skills.
Wanyama featured yesterday as Kenya defeated Mozambique 1-0 in his homeland. Spurs fans will now be hoping the settled midfielder can help them pick up what is becoming a very elusive win.
