Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for another summer of change as they embark on UEFA Europa League football under Ange Postecoglou.
In what was Ange Postecoglou’s first season in English football, the Australian manager guided his Tottenham Hotspur side to a fifth placed finish.
The North London club played exciting, attacking football which was very impressive, in the first half of the Premier League season, in particular.
Injury issues plagued the side and not having a reliable outlet of goals in the absence of Harry Kane, who moved to Bayern Munich last summer, cost the side a place in the Champions League.

Key Spurs players’ future unclear
One Tottenham player who has looked positive this season is Brazilian forward Richarlison, who has scored 11 Premier League goals for the Lilywhites and has looked to be a very dangerous outlet for the club.
Brazilian reports had linked Vasco De Gama with a shock move for the Spurs forward but these rather surprising claims have now been rubbished by people close to Richarlison.
Initially the reports stated that Richarlison would be on the way with quotes from Jose Ferreria Neto, as per Torcederos, saying: “The information I have is that Richarlison will return to Brazilian football. He has to return [to Brazil] to return to the World Cup. The information I have is that Richarlison isn’t very happy at Tottenham and wants to return [to Brazil]. He would be an important name for Vasco.”
However, this has now been denied with Richarlison’s camp claiming that he will “stay at Tottenham” this summer, as per Carlos Berbert. A striker like Richarlison remaining at Tottenham may well be the best thing for all parties with the Brazilian oftentimes making an impact for the North London club.
Richarlison on his own future
Speaking to ESPN earlier this month, the former Everton forward seemed to hint that he saw his future in North London and under Postecoglou.
“We have developed, we have developed a lot,” he said. “I think the coach (Ange Postecoglou) has already said that there will be changes, so I think we will have a much more competitive team next season.”
Spurs will have plenty of other areas of priority this summer so holding on to the 25-year-old will be key for the Lilywhites heading into their UEFA Europa League campaign.
