Tottenham striker Harry Kane has shared that he is feeling ‘fresh’ and ready to finish the season ‘strong’ for both club and country.

The 25-year-old is currently on international duty with England where he will be looking to make his mark in his their Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Last month, Kane returned from an ankle injury which resulted in him missing a number of big Premier League and domestic cup competitions for his side.

Speaking to Sky Sports News (19/03/2019 at 3:35 pm), Spurs fans will absolutely love what their key player has had to say about his current condition.

“I feel good now,” Kane told Sky Sports News. “I’ve said whenever I have got an injury, I try to use it as a positive to try and rest the body parts that haven’t been rested over the last few years.

“I managed to get away with some warm weather training, still working as hard as ever, but more just a mental break. Not having that schedule of games, week in, week out.

“I am back fresh. Obviously, the results haven’t been what we wanted, but me personally, I feel good and I feel like I am in a great position to finish the season strong.”

Before returning to club action, Kane will be looking to fire in the goals against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.

After those games are over, he will return to North London where a number of big games, both in the Premier League and in Europe await his side.

After a number of poor performances in the league, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways, with the club set to move into their new stadium as a big boost.

Added with that, they play Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, with the first leg set to be played at Tottenham’s new home.
