Tottenham Hotspur pulled off a comeback for the ages against Leicester City, with Steven Bergwijn bagging two injury-time goals against Leicester City.
Leicester looked to be closing in on all three points at the King Power Stadium. Patson Daka’s opener was cancelled out by Harry Kane, but James Maddison appeared to have won it.
The final moments of injury time can only be described as absolute chaos.
Substitute Steven Bergwijn appeared to have rescued a point for Tottenham, smashing a last-gasp equaliser.
Leicester tried to go back on the attack from kick-off, but Youri Tielemans carelessly gave the ball away.
From there, Tottenham were smelling blood. Harry Kane got on the half turn and threaded a pass in behind the Leicester defence.
Kasper Schmeichel hesitated, neither coming for the ball nor staying at home. Bergwijn simply went past the Dane and found the net, beating Caglar Soyuncu on the line.
Bergwijn’s injury-time brace sparked absolute bedlam in the away end, on the pitch, even on the bench as Antonio Conte and his staff went wild.
That late salvo was huge for the top four race.
If Bergwijn doesn’t score his brace, Tottenham would be sat four points adrift of West Ham and with one of their games in hand gone.

A draw would have been fine, but Tottenham winning now puts them just one point behind West Ham and eight behind Chelsea. Tottenham still have three games in hand on West Ham and four on Chelsea.
This night will live long in the memory for Tottenham fans, and one former Spurs hero was loving it too.
Former Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen took to Twitter to celebrate Bergwijn’s heroics, simply tweeting ‘Stevie’ alongside three heart-eyed emojis.
Fans loved seeing that Vertonghen still has Spurs at heart, with the whole Tottenham family basking in a truly unbelievable night.
