Matthew Upson has given his take on Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn on BBC Sport amid speculation that Spurs want to sell him.
The BBC Sport pundit has said that Bergwijn is a power player, and that the Tottenham winger has pace to hurt opposition defences.
However, Upson, a former Arsenal central defender, is doubtful that the 24-year-old Netherlands international winger can do it on a consistent basis.
The BBC Sport pundit made the comments while watching Bergwijn in action for Tottenham in the Premier League game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Tottenham lost the London derby 2-0.
Upson said about Bergwijn on BBC Sport: “Steven Bergwijn is a real impact, power player.
“Does he always deliver consistently? Possibly not but he’s certainly got the power and pace to turn it on when he wants to.”

What should Tottenham do with Steven Bergwijn?
In our view, Tottenham should keep Bergwijn until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old scored two goals against Leicester City last week and impressed some Tottenham fans with his performance against Chelsea while playing upfront with Harry Kane.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Twitter on January 9, 2022 that Tottenham have decided to sell the winger, who cost Spurs from PSV Eindhoven in January 2020 for £27 million (BBC Sport),
Now, we know that Bergwijn is not very consistent, but he is a good option to have for Conte.
And, in our opinion, Tottenham should keep the attacker until the end of the season.
