Aurier played alongside Ben Yedder for two seasons at French side Toulouse, before the right-back was snapped up by Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ivorian joined Tottenham this summer in a £24 million move after dropping down the pecking order in Paris.
Ben Yedder left Toulouse in 2016 to join Sevilla, where he has gone on to score more than 35 goals in his two season in Spain.
His brace against United may be the biggest of his career so far, and for all their stars Jose Mourinho was shown up by not having a striker of his quality to call on from the bench.
