Vorm had an uncomfortable afternoon at Vicarage Road, as Spurs crashed to a 2-1 defeat.
The Dutchman showed he does not possess the same command of his box as Tottenham’s first choice number one and Mauricio Pochettino’s side suffered for it.
There was one comical moment when Vorm peculiarly kicked a goal kick out for a corner, an incident which has to be seen to be believed.
Some Spurs fans were not amused by the goalkeeper’s ineptitude in his moment, with their 100 per cent start to the season on the line.
Watford did well to earn their win, and they might have still won if Tottenham had Lloris in the side.
Unfortunately for Michel Vorm, most of what he did at the weekend highlighted Lloris’ importance to the team instead of building a case for himself to get more playing time.
