Can Tottenham star make this fresh opportunity count?

Kyle Walker-Peters is no stranger to starring on he opening day of the Premier League season.
This time he hopes the opportunity will not be ripped away from him after helping Tottenham to a win.
Two years ago Walker-Peters stood in for Spurs at right-back away at Newcastle and earned a man-of-the-match award.
He then found himself down to third choice in the pecking order within a week as Kieran Trippier returned from injury and Spurs signed Serge Aurier.
Now Walker-Peters is in a far stronger position than he was then.
Trippier has been sold, and Walker-Peters looks to have overtaken Aurier in the pecking order, for now.

Unlike two years ago, the transfer window closed before this season began.
Walker-Peters has possession of the right-back spot, and he is better equipped to hold onto it.
Now 22, there is no need to Tottenham to hold him back.
Not when Liverpool trust Trent Alexander-Arnold, 20, and Manchester United have made Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 21, first choice.
Two years ago it was a false dawn for Walker-Peters. This time he has to make the opportunity count, but Tottenham need to be bold and ensure he gets a proper run in the side and a fair shot to become a big success.
