Tottenham Hotspur ace needs to step up with Jan Vertonghen injured.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth faces a critical few weeks for his Tottenham season.
The centre-back has recovered from an injury which wrecked his pre-season and saw him miss the club’s pre-season tour.
He now has an opening to the first team after Jan Vertonghen was ruled out for the next four to six weeks with an injury.
It leaves pressure on Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez to perform, and to both stay fit on international duty.
Foyth has been named into Argentina’s international squad for the first time himself and has a chance to make a name for himself and get some game time under his belt.

Tottenham paid around £12 million to sign Foyth from Estudiantes in 2017, with the defender tagged as ‘one for the future’.
He did not start a single Premier League game in his first season but should be needed now.
Foyth is not named in Tottenham’s Champions League squad, meaning manager Mauricio Pochettino must rotate his side sensibly in the Premier League to give rest to at least one of Alderweireld and Sanchez.
For Foyth it is the chance he has been waiting for. He needs to prove to Pochettino that he deserves more opportunities by seizing the ones he is given.
The upcoming weeks are the biggest of Foyth’s career so far.
