Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min is likely to keep wearing his protective mask as Antonio Conte’s men prepare for Premier League action.
That’s according to The Telegraph, who claim that Son is expected to wear his mask against Brentford on Boxing Day.
Tottenham’s trip to Brentford is the first Premier League game after the World Cup and Spurs would love to pick up a win.
Some players may not be available due to their participation in the World Cup; it’s hard to imagine Cristian Romero being ready to play on Monday for a start.
Son should be ready to go after South Korea were beaten in the last 16 of the World Cup by Brazil.
Son is two weeks removed from his World Cup duties and Antonio Conte will likely pick him to start against Brentford.

Tottenham star Son Heung-min likely to keep wearing his mask
Son was only able to play at the World Cup thanks to a protective mask.
The 30-year-old suffered a fractured eye socket against Marseille in November and some feared that he wouldn’t be able to play in Qatar.
Son didn’t play for Tottenham after that injury but a mask enabled him to turn out for South Korea against South Korea, Ghana, Portugal and Brazil.
The World Cup maybe didn’t go to plan for Son as he failed to score a single goal and registered just one assist.
Son certainly won’t blame the mask, and Tottenham fans have been unconvinced by his performances this season even before the injury.
Still, it’s better to have him available than on the sidelines and with his injury still healing, the mask will make a Premier League appearance or two.
We’re heading towards two months since Son suffered the injury and he will hope to be mask-free soon enough, but it’s all about safety first in this situation as re-injury would be a nightmare.
