Fabrizio Romano has said on Tottenham fan Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel that Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat wants to join Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that that Amrabat is waiting for Tottenham to agree a deal with Fiorentina in the final days of the January transfer window.

Romano has added on Twitter that a number of other clubs are also interested in the Morocco international midfielder, who cost Fiorentina £17 million when they signed him from Club Bruges (The Daily Mail).

The Guardian and SkySports journalist said on Tottenham fan Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel: :Amrabat is waiting for Tottenham. He wants to join Tottenham, but, of course, he has to wait.”

Tottenham should step up Sofyan Amrabat pursuit

In our view, if Tottenham are keen on signing Amrabat in the January transfer window, then they need to get a deal sorted.

Now.

The January transfer window closes on Monday night.

There is simply not much time left for Tottenham.

If Amrabat wants to join Spurs and Tottenham are keen on him, then, in our opinion, the North London club should try to get a deal sorted soon.

Especially as, according to Romano, other clubs are interested in the 25-year-old midfielder.

Meanwhile, CM have reported that Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski is ready to say ‘yes’ to a move to Tottenham.

Juventus are reportedly open to offloading the Sweden international winger and are ready to send him to Tottenham on loan.

However, according to the report, Juventus want Tottenham to have a compulsory purchase clause in the contract, and want the North London club to pay €40 million (£33.26m) for Kulusevski in the summer of 2022.
