Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in snapping up Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a summer move for Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Spurs have been impressed by the Watford midfielder’s performances this season, and will reportedly make their move to sign him in a few months’ time.

If Pochettino could pull off a transfer, then it would be an exciting move for Tottenham, and would give them the strongest midfield in the Premier League.

Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama are already two of the biggest powerhouses in England, and if Doucoure was also to arrive – Tottenham’s midfield would look very robust.

Whether Pochettno would have plans to use all three midfielders in tandem remains to be seen, but if he did then Spurs would have the capabilities to physically bully teams in the centre of the pitch.

Doucoure offers a lot more than just strength though, as he has vast amount of technical ability.

The Frenchman has scored seven goals and claimed three assists in 25 Premier League matches this term.

Doucoure looks to be the complete midfielder, and if Tottenham could force through a deal for the Watford man, it would be a highly exciting transfer.
