Tottenham Hotspur are said to be monitoring Red Bull Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

According to BILD, Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Timo Werner, and if he joins up, Mauricio Pochettino’s side could have one of the all time great Premier League strike-forces.

Tottenham are said to be considering making a move for Werner of Red Bull Leipzig, with the German appearing set to leave.

Leipzig reportedly want £53.8 million for the forward, with Spurs’ eyes now on him.

And if Werner was to arrive at Tottenham then Pochettino would have to think about switching his current system, as his partnership with Harry Kane would have the potential to be simply brilliant.

Kane is already arguably the finest striker in the Premier League, but with Werner alongside him, Tottenham would be a huge threat.

Spurs already possess one of the most dangerous attacks in Europe, but with Werner involved they would only become an even more terrifying prospect.

Werner could compliment Kane, as he is a player blessed with great pace, who loves to run in behind defenders.

And if Tottenham do make a move for the German international then his arrival should be treated as extremely exciting news for Spurs fans.
