Tottenham Hotspur’s excellent form in the Champions League continued last week, as they defeated Borussia Dortmund in Germany. Goals from Harry Kane and Heung-min Son proved enough to claim the win for Spurs at Signal Iduna Park after Pierre Aubameyang had earlier given Dortmund the lead.
That result ensured Spurs of top spot in the group, meaning their final game against APOEL Nicosia at Wembley is something of a dead heat.

With that in mind, Spurs may use the opportunity to rest some of their regular first-team players – such as Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen. It might also afford them a chance to play some of the younger players – including one of England’s under-17.
Tashan Oakley-Boothe, who is included in the official Champions League squad for Spurs, is a player whom Mauricio Pochettino has a lot of hope for.
The dynamic midfielder, who helped England under-17s win the World Cup recently, has made his debut for Spurs this season but this game would be a genuine opportunity to hand him a first start.

Spurs have recently gained a well-earned reputation for bringing through young talent – with Harry Winks a fine recent example.
Oakley-Boothe has the potential to be a future Spurs first-teamer and giving him this chance could be a worthwhile gamble for Spurs to take at this juncture.
He might go on to play a role throughout the season ahead.
