Huddersfield Town are showing an interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah, according to The Sun.
Onomah was part of England’s under-20 World Cup winning team, and could have to leave Spurs on loan in order to gain regular football.
Scottish champions Celtic are keen on Onomah too, and while they can offer him Champions League football, it is the opportunity to get acclimatised to playing weekly in the English Premier League that the midfielder really needs.
Tottenham will not find many clubs better suited to utilising Onomah than the newly promoted Terriers.
Manager David Wagner is highly regarded due to the way he gets his sides playing passing and pressing football, and as last season shows, his methods get results.

The German has also shown a willingness to give chances to young players, and has utilised the loan system very well.
Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward was a regular for them last season, while Chelsea duo Izzy Brown and Kasey Palmer were given prominent roles.
Perhaps the biggest impact was made by attacking midfielder Aaron Mooy, on loan from Manchester City, but Huddersfield are far from guaranteed to land him next season with clubs queuing up for his services.
Onomah could easily find a role in Huddersfield’s team, and that’s more than can be said of his Tottenham prospects next season.
