Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to sell Erik Lamela for £15 million to Inter Milan.

According to a report on FC Inter News in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur are considering selling winger Erik Lamela for £15 million, but there is no way that Mauricio Pochettino’s side should accept an offer of that amount.

Lamela may have had a disastrous campaign last time out, as he failed to make it off the treatment table.

However, the Argentine is worth far more than what Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s valuation of him currently is, in this market.

Before his injury problems, Lamela appeared to be right on the verge of becoming a star at Spurs.

The former Roma man had found his feet in English football, and was playing a highly important role for Pochettino’s side.

And if Lamela can get back to that standard, then he is worth far more than the £15 million Inter are reportedly willing to pay for him.

Indeed, even if Spurs can’t get Lamela to return to his peak form, then he still should hold some value.

And that means, at this stage, there is little plus side for Spurs to accept such a low offer for a winger, who could still develop into a superstar in North London.
