Tottenham Hotspur should take advantage of Barcelona’s desire to offload Ousmane Dembele.

Barca are reportedly looking to offload Philippe Coutinho, Malcom or Dembele, as they look to raise funds to bring in Antoine Griezmann.
And Spurs would benefit from moving for Dembele, as he could be a headline signing for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Tottenham have been accused of lacking ambition in recent times, as they have not brought in a new player for over a year.
But Dembele would surely fit in with Tottenham’s transfer policy, even though he would not come cheaply.
Barca paid £135 million (BBC Sport) for Dembele just two years ago, although they have little chance of recouping that sort of fee now.
Dembele has not enhanced his reputation at the Nou Camp, and he has also suffered a bad injury.
Spurs would also enter the negotiations in the position of power, as Barca need to sell to raise money.

Tottenham would, of course, have to break their transfer record to have any chance of landing Dembele – but he would be a fitting player to do so on.
Mauricio Pochettino has urged Spurs to start showing more ambition in the transfer market if they are to start winning titles, and Dembele’s arrival at White Hart Lane would certainly mark a new era at Spurs.
There is hope that Tottenham’s new stadium will allow them to attract the best players in the world, and Dembele has the potential to be just that.
Capable on either foot, Dembele has a devastating combination of tricks and pace in his armoury.
And Spurs must attempt to take their chance to sign Dembele, as Barca look to offload the 22-year-old.
