Tottenham Hotspur should re-ignite their interest in Florian Thauvin, who has more league goals than Harry Kane over 2018.
Thauvin now has 24 goals in Ligue 1 this term, which puts him ahead of everyone but Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for league goals in the calendar year.
And Tottenham should give the Frenchman his second chance in the Premier League.
Thauvin struggled during his first spell in England with Newcastle United, with his performances often criticised.
However, a move back to Marseille has been perfect for him, and he has gone from strength to strength.
Tottenham were said to be keeping tabs on Thauvin earlier this year by RMC Sport.
And Mauricio Pochettino should now go back in for Thauvin in January.
Spurs already have one of the most dangerous attacks in the Premier League, but Thauvin’s arrival would give them so many options to hurt teams with.
And if the winger is available, then Spurs should be trying to get to the front of the queue to sign him in 2019.
