Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

According to RMC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Anthony Martial from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Martial reportedly wants to leave United at the end of the season, and Spurs are claimed to be exploring the possibility of securing his services.

The 22-year-old France international forward, who cost the Red Devils an initial transfer fee of £36 million when they signed him from AS Monaco in the summer of 2015 according to BBC Sport, is one of the best young players in Europe, and there is no doubt over his quality.

However, instead of targeting Martial, Spurs should look at the possibility of signing his United teammate Marcus Rashford.

A report in The Mirror earlier this week claimed that Rashford is frustrated at not playing regularly for Jose Mourinho’s side and could leave in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham should take advantage of this (reported) uncertainty over the future of the 20-year-old and make a move for him in the summer transfer window.

Rashford is a hugely promising young footballer who has a bright future ahead of him, and working with Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is only going to improve him.

The youngster could form a formidable partnership with his England international teammate Harry Kane at Spurs and will add another dimension to Tottenham’s attack.

True, Rashford will not be guaranteed a place in the Tottenham starting lineup rightaway, but he should know that Pochettino improves young players and gives them chances.

Moreover, with Rashford earning £55,000 per week as salary at United, according to The Sun, Spurs would not have to break their wage structure to sign him.
