Tottenham Hotspur attacker helped team to the Champions League last 16.

Christian Eriksen fulfilled a dream this week by helping Tottenham Hotspur to win a point at the Nou Camp.
While a victory would have been better, a draw proved to be enough to book Tottenham’s place in the Champions League last 16.
Eriksen’s contract situation is a scary one for Tottenham right now.
The Times reported last month that Eriksen is in a stand-off and is choosing not to discuss a renewal, even though his current deal expires in 2020.
Losing Eriksen for nothing would be a worst case scenario for Spurs.
He has been continually linked with Barcelona, going back to when he was at Ajax and before he joined Tottenham.

He told The Evening Standard in 2017: “There are always rumours about footballers, but Barcelona are a great club and I don’t think there are many who say no to Barcelona.
“In the future, I see myself at the highest level. That’s what I dream about. It can be in about two to three years. It may be at another club or it could be Tottenham if we have come all the way up.”
This week Eriksen got a chance to play at the Nou Camp, and Tottenham held their own.
Eriksen can check playing an important game at Barcelona’s stadium off his dream list.
He can also be encouraged that Tottenham showed they can compete, and as Eriksen claimed he would consider staying if Spurs proved they are on the ‘highest level’, fans should hold out new hope.
