Tottenham Hotspur played out an enthralling 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday evening as Ryan Sessegnon turned in a strong performance.
Tottenham play their part in bonkers Liverpool draw
What a mad game of football.
Harry Kane had Tottenham in front with Antonio Conte’s men looking a major threat on the counter, but Kane was lucky to avoid a red card for a nasty challenge on Andrew Robertson.
Tottenham couldn’t find a vital second goal, and were made to pay when Diogo Jota equalised for Liverpool.
Jota could have had a penalty, chances kept coming and going for Tottenham and Andrew Robertson’s goal involved what appeared to be a Mohamed Salah handball.
As if it couldn’t get even more action-packed, Son Heung-min equalised from an Alisson miscue and Robertson was then sent off for fouling Emerson Royal.
Come the final whistle, many were branding this the game of the season so far.
Sessegnon shines for Tottenham
Antonio Conte decided to go with Ryan Sessegnon as Tottenham’s left wing back on Sunday, picking him over Sergio Reguilon.

Sessegnon hasn’t really had many chances to start for Tottenham since his £25million move from Fulham in 2019.
You wouldn’t have known that judging by SUnday’s display though, with Sessegnong thriving throughout.
Sessegnon gave Trent Alexander-Arnold some trouble going forward and certainly didn’t look out of place defensively against Mohamed Salah.
Tottenham fans have been praising Sessegnon, branding him ‘sensational’, ‘brilliant’ and ‘absolutely class’.
Others now think Sessegnon’s Tottenham career will take off now, backing him to supplant Reguilon permanently this season.
