Real Madrid are showing a strong interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison this summer.

Many fans of a certain age will associate the all-white Real Madrid strip with a certain Brazilian striker.

Of course, we mean Ronaldo here but Real could soon move to land something of an heir to O Fenomeno.

ESPN report that Real are looking at two strikers as they seek competition for Karim Benzema in attack.

Juventus ace Dusan Vlahovic is one of the targets on Real’s radar, but so is Tottenham attacker Richarlison.

It’s stated that Real boss Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of Richarlison having worked with the Brazil international at Everton.

However, Real accept that this deal will be very difficult given that Richarlison is tired to Tottenham until 2027.

Spurs won’t really be in a mood to sell this summer but the pull of Real could be strong for Richarlison.

Richarlison yet to really explode for Tottenham

Spurs splashed the cash to sign Richarlison from Everton over the summer, forking out £60million to lure him to North London.

Richarlison has now turned out 14 times in the Premier League for Tottenham but still hasn’t scored a goal.

The 25-year-old did manage a brace against Marseille in the Champions League but has yet to find the net in the league.

It’s therefore a surprise to see Real Madrid still interested in Richarlison, even though he continues to find the net for Brazil.

Ancelotti must be a huge fan and with Richarlison – who has suffered a number of niggling injuries this season –  yet to really prove his worth to Tottenham, the temptation to sell for a profit may be strong.

Whether Real are willing to pay more than £60million remains to be seen but this is a transfer story to keep close tabs on.
