Liverpool and Manchester United are also reported to be tracking the 22-year-old Senegal international winger.
Watford spell
Sarr joined Watford from Rennes in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £30 million.
According to WhoScored, Sarr made 22 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Watford this past season, scoring five goals and providing four assists in the process.
The Sun has claimed that Watford are looking for as much as £40 million to sell the Senegal international winger, who was quoted as saying by The Watford Observer in March 2020 that he turned down Barcelona in 2017 to joined Rennes because he did not want to “just sit on the bench or play in the B level”.
Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?
Sarr has proved his quality in the Premier League this past season and is too good for the Championship.
The winger would make Spurs a better and more potent team, but it is hard to see the North London outfit cough up £40 million.
