Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sell Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente in the summer transfer window.
Janssen cost Tottenham £17 million in transfer fees when he joined from AZ in the summer of 2016, while Spurs paid Swansea City £15m to sign Llorente in the summer of 2017, as reported by The London Evening Standard.
It has been reported that Spurs are hoping to recoup their outlay on the two strikers, who have struggled to make an impact at the North London outfit, but it is hard to see Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy pulling it off.
Llorente is 33 years of age, and although the Spain international is a proven goalscorer despite his struggles at Tottenham last season, will any club pay £15m for him given his age? Probably not.
Janssen is only 24 years of age and has a lot of potential, but the Netherlands international striker has suffered with poor form and injury issues for the past two seasons.
Will any club pay £17m for the 24-year-old this summer? Probably not, at least not any team in the Premier League.
