Victor Wanyama joined Tottenham Hotspur from Southampton in 2016.

The British tabloid has also claimed that Tottenham are still trying to offload Belgian midfielder Mousa Dembele.
Stats
Wanyama has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Premier League rivals Southampton for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11 million.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder has played just 57 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, while during the 2017-18 campaign, the former Celtic star played 839 minutes in the league for Spurs, according to WhoScored.

Wanyama, though, started 35 Premier League matches for Spurs in 2016-17, according to WhoScored, and there is no doubt that the Kenya international – who earns £70,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star – is a very good player.
Perhaps Tottenham should keep hold of Wanyama until the end of the season at least and not sell the defensive midfielder in the January transfer window.
