Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Wilmar Barrios of Boca Juniors in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will watch Barrios in action for Colombia at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia this summer.
The report has also claimed that Pochettino has watched the 24-year-old defensive midfielder already, and that Spurs are preparing to make a £25 million bid for him in the summer transfer window.

Good plan
Barrios has been playing well for Boca, having already featured in over 100 matches for Deportes Tolima before his move to the Argentine giants.
The 24-year-old is a strong and capable defensive midfielder, and it would be smart of Pochettino to watch him in action at the World Cup before making a decision whether or not to make a £25m bid.

The defensive midfielder will know Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez very well, as they are Colombia international teammates.
The 21-year-old central defender, who earns £60,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, joined Spurs from Ajax in the summer of 2017.
