
Tottenham Hotspur are willing to meet Stuttgart’s demand to sign Nicolas Gonzalez, according to Sky Italia.
What’s the story?
Stuttgart want €25 million (£21.5m) upfront with a further €4m (£3.5m) in bonuses.
Tottenham are willing to pay it and secure the services of the Argentina international attacker.
However, Fiorentina are also keen on Gonzalez.
The Italian club have made an offer of €22million (£19m) plus €3m (£2.5m), but it has been rejected.
What kind of player is Nicolas Gonzalez?
Gonzalez is a very good attacker who has played five times for the Argentina national football team.
The 23-year-old is a versatile player who can play as a winger or as a centre-forward.
The Argentine scores goals and creates chances, and his versatility would also be a boon to Tottenham.

During the 2020-21 campaign, the 23-year-old made 10 starts and five substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Stuttgart.
The youngster scored six goals and gave two assists in those games.
In 2019-20, Gonzalez made 21 starts and six substitute appearances in the second division in Germany.
The 23-year-old scored 14 goals and gave three assists in those matches.

Arsenal’s former sporting director Sven Mislintat is now the sporting director at Stuttgart, and he raved about the youngster back in November 2020 and compared him to Gunners striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Mislintat told Bild: “I know that, from Aubameyang’s days in Dortmund, he was always in top shape. He arrived on Friday evenings and was able to play on Saturdays. Nico is one of those guys too.”
