Gonzalez has a very good reputation and has a good character.

Arsenal’s former sporting director Sven Mislintat is now the sporting director at Stuttgart, and he raved about the youngster back in November 2020 and compared him to Gunners striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Mislintat told Bild: “I know that, from Aubameyang’s days in Dortmund, he was always in top shape. He arrived on Friday evenings and was able to play on Saturdays. Nico is one of those guys too.”
