Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are willing to sell Giovani Lo Celso for €20-€25 million (£16.93-£21.17m), with Villarreal interested in signing him, according to AS.
AS have reported that Villarreal want to sign Lo Celso on a permanent deal from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old Argentina international midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at the Yellow Submarine.
AS have claimed that Tottenham will sell Lo Celso for €20-€25 million (£16.93-£21.17m), having signed him for €50 million (£42.34m) from Real Betis.
This means that Spurs are willing to make a loss of €25 million (£21.17m) on Lo Celso.
Villarreal reportedly believe that Lo Celso wants to return to the La Liga club.
No future at Tottenham Hotspur for Giovani Lo Celso
In our view, Giovani Lo Celso does not have a future at Tottenham Hotspur under head coach Antonio Conte.
Conte clearly does not rate the 26-year-old Argentina international midfielder..
After all, the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss decided to send Lo Celso out on loan in the January transfer window.
Conte has also left the Argentine out of his pre-season squad.
The writing is on the wall for Lo Celso.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport have reported that Tottenham are willing to sell Japhet Tanganga for €10-12 million (£6.77-8.47m).
.AC Milan are reportedly interested in the defender.
Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has claimed on Twitter that Southampton and Napoli are also keen on the 23-year-old.
