Tottenham Hotspur face a tricky summer transfer window, as Jose Mourinho won’t have a huge budget to work with.

Spurs will have to be clever in the market, with bargain deals needed to take the club forward in light of the global pandemic.

Mourinho may be keen to add another playmaker or attacking player this summer, and one is emerging as a star in West London.

Eberechi Eze starred for Queens Park Rangers this past season, racking up 14 goals and eight assists in a stunning campaign.

Football.London reported in May that Eze was on the Tottenham radar, and Spurs had great ties to his agency as they weighed up a move.

A skilful midfielder with outstanding close control in tight areas and the belief to pull off every trick imaginable, the 22-year-old looks like a huge talent – but Spurs could miss out.

The Guardian claim that Crystal Palace have failed with a £12million bid, and QPR are holding out for around £16million for their star man.

Tottenham fans have seen that news, and believe that Eze is a ‘bargain’ and an ‘absolute steal’ at just £16million.

Some are urging Daniel Levy to make the move happen, and feel that Tottenham will really miss out if they don’t swoop in for Eze.
