Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to maintain their slim hopes of finishing in the Champions League places when they take on Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday evening.

Spurs will head into the Premier League game against the Toffees on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Sheffield United away from home in the league.

Jose Mourinho’s side are as low as 10th in the Premier League table with 45 points from 32 matches, as many as 12 points behind London rivals and fourth-placed Chelsea, who have played 33 matches.

Mourinho is likely to make a few changes to the team, with Toby Alderweireld set to be recalled and replace Davinson Sanchez in central defence.

Harry Winks could be drafted into midfield and is likely to have Moussa Sissoko and Giovani Lo Celso alongside.

While Harry Kane will continue to lead the line for Tottenham, 28-year-old Erik Lamela is likely to return to the starting lineup and freshen things up in attacking midfield.
